On Saturday, March 21st Lotus Dance Studio recreates a Faerie Fantasy out of Bellydance in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Starting their third year bringing the art of Belly Dance and Tribal Style Belly Dance to the South Florida area, Lotus once again steps outside of the box (for South Florida) and creates a magical world of Faeires, Pixies and Gnomes on stage for the delight of adults and children alike.
Alina Yllanes, the director of Lotus Dance Studio, along with her team of incredibly talented instructors, such as Alicia of BellyCraft, Anna Nummelin, Bliss, Isis San Miguel, Lizzy and Sandy Reyes scout out the area's top performers for this one night only event filled with fantasy performances from talented artists such as BellyCraft, Diana Spring, Masala Fusion, Moon Dance, Roshana Nofret, Scarlet Moon and many more!
As part of the faerie weekend, Isis San Miguel teaches a Double Veil workshop the next day at Lotus Dance Studio, once again stepping out of the box and fusing technique with the softness yet intensity of veil work.
